Positive Starts to Any Week
Positive Starts to Any Week
Happy Monday!
Of all the things we've heard in our life both good and bad, why do we often fill our minds with more of the naysaying words than the positive ones? If we were able to control our thoughts we could see more how this can have such an effect on our life and business. We probably don't even realize how much of this, is causing a downward spiral effect behind the scenes.
This week, let's try to witness how we can shift what cause and effect is actually happening in your day to day life.
Let's try to simple act, in order to bring on more ease, a more positive outlook in order to reach the new overriding feeling and outcomes we desire. This small act will produce more belief in our small goals, and mini achievements that will lead to bigger desires being met.
When we really think of it, haven't we all been through enough, yet so many of us often believe and trust the most negative of words that are fill our minds over time. All of the negative chatter we may just whisper to ourselves on a daily minute by minute basis, can build up and keep us from excelling and living a life of peace over time. It can also prevent us from feeling the confidence to reach that goal or move the needle in our career or life as we had wished.
Today, It's time to begin to notice more of our thoughts and see how we can put in practices to let go of the inner whispers and start giving ourselves more peace and ease in our day. This peace and ease can allow us finally the traction needed to focus on more important things...like living the one true life you were destined for.
We are (unknowingly) keeping ourselves in our own jail (so to speak) and often times it originated from someone else filling our thoughts with such things. It's keeping us held back from being really free. If we're human, we all tend to do this to some capacity.
Whether it's negative little whispers about our own physical appearance, our way of being down on ourselves because of our inability to achieve something or lack there of, or maybe it's that we're scrutinizing the way we did something which we had hoped to do better. it's all happening behind the sidelines chipping away at us little by little the small words created bigger ripple effects whether good or bad.
Sometimes the chatter is often a whisper that we almost didn't even hear too clearly, but all we noticed was we didn't feel good about ourselves and we can find the connection to what's holding us in this downward spiral.
If we pair that inner self talk with the negative words or critical judgement of others from over the years (and many of it all stems from this originally), then we're realizing it's making it harder (as if swimming upstream) to fill our life with ease and enjoyment and pursuing more easily the things we desire from a place of fulfillment.
But there's a way to get out from under this. Getting out from the same old patterns, is what is going to make the real change.
When we think of all the negative judgement, critical views, and harsh opinions we've heard over the years from ourselves and others, whether that be from loved ones close to us, those in our career, or just someone in a casual encounter, it can really have an affect on how we're living our lives.
We must realize we deserve peace, and ease and to remind ourselves that what was said, was not even true.
A Positive affirmation is the very thing that has been proven to literally replace the old chatter in our minds and re-create belief in oneself. Affirmations have away of re-wiring our brains.
But a practice must be put in place to make it a constant of re-reading each positive phrase daily. The more it is read, the more belief you have in this new statement. When the negative mind chatter ends, that's when we're really able to succeed at fulfilling our deepest life desires and it starts with just hearing our truest self.
Is there a story about your capabilities or lack there of that you keep telling yourself which is not even the truth? Let's change this right now to know that it's not the true and start seeing your truest self fully now! You have more potentially already within you than you even know!
Fill yourself with a good affirmation, that you are so very deserving of hearing.

So, yes, there are empirical studies based on the idea that we can maintain our sense of self-integrity by telling ourselves (or affirming) what we believe in positive ways https://positivepsychology.com/daily-affirmations/
